Police helpicopters and dogs help officers make two arrests in Wolverhampton

Police helicopters and dogs were deployed to Hickman Avenue to help search for a stolen bike and two young men yesterday morning (December 2).

They were seen pushing a Honda motorbike believed to have been stolen from Park Road East last month. They were also in possession of an industrial cleaner which West Midlands Police believe was also stolen.

The men ran from officers but were detained shortly after. Police were supported by National Police Air Service (NPAS) and their dogs.

A 16-year old and 23 year-old man were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle. The teenager was later bailed, while the other remains in custody to help with enquiries.
