On the 27th February 2026, ‘Dockworks Waterfront’ opened and soon received a thrilling interest in its first few months.
With a 7,000 square foot site and 60 traders, the location of the dining club is in Brierley Hill, Dudley. With a refit of £500,000 to replace the former steelworks site.
Kasia Majewska, general manager of Dockwork’s Waterfront has reportedly spoke of a 67% increase in trade in comparison to their opening week when speaking to Midlands Gazette as changes have been made such as a wide range of non-alcoholic options.
The building located right by the canal is open four times a week, even adjusting closing times to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, serving food until an hour before closing. According to Midlands Gazette, the venue welcomes around 500 dogs with owners.
As someone living in the Black Country, I believed in this project from the very beginning and have been fully invested in seeing it succeed.

The staff have upgraded even further over the summer bank holiday weekends, planning for a packed-out space with a wide selection of events and live music through the strive in becoming a fully-fledged community space, with staff serving 3,000 pints.
